Winter Show
The Winter Show is this Wednesday!
Our students have been hard at work preparing some amazing performances for us all to enjoy and we are looking forward to seeing as many parents and members of the HFS community as possible come together to share in some winter cheers.
- The performance starts at 2pm, and we ask that you be seated and ready for the show to start at this time.
- After the show there should be time for some hot chocolate and light refreshments served in the lobby area. This is also a chance for our community to spend some time together before the holidays.
Holiday Homework
Please remember that it is our policy to not set homework during the holidays. We believe our students need a well-earned break and that they will learn better if they come back refreshed in term 2.
Library Volunteer
We are looking for a parent volunteer to support our small but much-loved HFS library. The role involves helping with book organisation, simple cataloguing and keeping the space welcoming for our students.
A regular weekly slot would be ideal, but we are happy to work around your availability. No prior experience is required, just a love of books and a willingness to help our young readers.
If you are interested, please contact the Admin Office.
Thank you for supporting our learning community.
Winter Show Buses
Please take a moment to complete the form below to tell us if you will need the school bus after the Winter Show.

Ulsan Children’s Home Christmas Gifts
Just 8 more gifts to buy!
Each year, HFS buys Christmas presents for the children at Ulsan Children’s Home, which has provided a loving home to disadvantaged children in Ulsan since 1947.
This is a wonderful way for our school community to spread Christmas cheer and support those less fortunate than ourselves.
If you would like to buy a gift for a child at Ulsan Children’s Home:
- Choose a gift from the children’s wish list.
- Write the name of the HFS student buying the gift in column A of the table.
- Order the gift using the link provided.
- Wrap the gift — it’s lovely to include some sweets or a short note.
- Send the wrapped gift to school before the end of term.
- The school (Santa!) will deliver the gifts during the holidays.

Early Years Enrolment Interest for 2026
Do you have siblings or friends who may wish to join our Early Years programme? To open an Early Years class in 2026, we require a minimum number of interested families. If you know a child who would like to enrol (aged 3 and above), please let us know during December.
The results of this December interest survey will determine whether the Early Years Class (EYC) will open for the 2026/27 school year, beginning in August 2026.
Digital Citizenship
From Term 2, all classes will begin using Common Sense Education’s digital citizenship curriculum. These trusted resources help children learn how to stay safe, think critically and act kindly online which is an important part of our safeguarding work and our commitment to developing responsible global citizens.
Students will explore topics such as protecting personal information, recognising reliable sources and showing respect in digital spaces.
