Mr Dunn’s Class Update T1W11

Hello everyone!

I hope this message finds you well. A polite reminder to fill out the permission form for the class trip, please use the link provided Link. Here’s a glimpse into what your child has been learning in class this week:

English: In English, we embarked on an exciting journey into the world of poetry. We delved into the beauty of language by exploring expanded noun phrases and similes. As part of our hands-on approach, the students captured close-up photos of ordinary objects, and our outdoor session provided inspiration for their writing. It’s wonderful to see their creativity and observation skills flourish!

Mathematics: This week in math, we dove into the realm of formal written methods for multiplication and division problem-solving. The students are gaining a solid foundation in these essential skills, and I’m impressed with their perseverance and eagerness to tackle mathematical challenges.

IPC (International Primary Curriculum): Our IPC exploration led us to understand the fascinating relationship between the Earth’s orbit around the sun and the changing seasons. Additionally, we delved into the phases of the moon, creating visual representations to reinforce our understanding. It’s a joy to see the students engage with science concepts through hands-on activities.

That’s all for this week, have a great weekend.
