This week, we explored various types of holidays and celebrations around the world under the theme
“Holidays in the World.” It was a time to discuss holidays that each child is familiar with, providing an
opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and festivals. We engaged in an art activity creating patterns
related to the Diwali festival in India. After understanding the significance of Diwali to the people of
India and the Rangoli design, each child created their own patterns. Following the pattern-making, we
used yarn and foil for decoration, exploring various materials. It was an enjoyable time for all the
