Y3-4 students are exploring environmental art this term. We’ve grasped the concept of environmental art and its connection to nature. In our discussions, we explored why the environment is crucial to us and how it impacts our lives. We shared images that come to mind when thinking about nature, such as mountains, flowers, the sea, and the sky.
Following our conversation, we delved into drawing flower patterns up close and colored them using pastels. It was a lot of fun! We learned about applying tones to our drawings to make them resemble real flowers. Looking forward to next week when we’ll explore different art skills and materials.
