FS1-2 Art Class Update – T2W6

This week, our FS1-2 friends, we had a super cool time learning about feelings and emotions! We watched this really fun story called “The Colour Monster,” where we met a cute monster who had different colors for his feelings. It was so interesting!

After watching the story, we all talked about our own feelings and when we usually feel them. It was neat to see how everyone feels different things at different times! Then, we got to draw our feelings on the whiteboard. Some of us drew happy faces, some drew sad faces, and some drew faces with lots of different feelings mixed together!

Next, we did something really fun—we used our fingerprints to make colourful pictures! We dipped our fingers in lots of bright colours and made awesome designs. It was like making a rainbow with our hands! After that, we got to draw on our fingerprint pictures to show even more of our feelings.

We also got to play with clay to explore our feelings. Some of us made smiley faces, while others made shapes that showed different feelings like excitement or calmness.

It was such a fun week learning about feelings and emotions together! We found out that it’s okay to feel all kinds of ways, and it’s important to talk about our feelings with our friends. Plus, we had a blast drawing, fingerprinting, and playing with clay! Can’t wait to see what fun things we learn next week!
