Contour drawing, a variation of outline drawing, involves the artist closely examining the contours of an object and transferring them onto paper with one continuous line, all without looking down except when necessary to place internal features like an eye. This week, the Year 5 and 6 kids created beautiful contour drawings using their interesting objects. Their artistic depictions through lines are truly impressive, and I couldn’t be prouder of their work.
