Y7-9 Art Class Update T1-W9

This week, our Year 7-9 students explored the fascinating world of marbling art.

They learned how paint can float on water due to something called “surface tension,” which allows the colours to stay on top of the water’s surface. Using this knowledge, students experimented by dropping paint into water, creating stunning and unique patterns. They then transferred these patterns onto paper, producing beautiful, original prints. It was an exciting and creative way for them to understand how water works while making their own artistic designs.
