This week, the year 7-9 students had a fun and exciting lesson where they combined traditional drawing with digital animation using the Animated Drawing Tool. They used their creativity and AI technology to bring their hand-drawn characters to life!
First, students took pictures of their drawings using a laptop and uploaded them to the Animated Drawing Tool. The AI helped by detecting the movement points on their characters, making it easy to animate them.
After uploading, students tried different movements like walking, jumping, waving, and dancing. They learned how changing the movement points made their characters move more smoothly. Some students even added backgrounds and created small stories with their animations!
It was amazing to see how much students enjoyed experimenting with animation. This lesson helped them learn both artistic and digital skills, and I was very happy to see their excitement and creativity throughout the class!
