Y3-4 Art Class Update T2-W9

The Y3-4 students closely observed Egon Schiele’s self-portraits and explored his bold and expressive lines. They practiced sketching in a way that captured the distinct characteristics of Schiele’s work, focusing on strong, deliberate strokes and expressive colour application. Each student showcased their unique perspective and artistic style, producing incredibly distinctive and impressive drawings.

Additionally, we introduced contour drawing. The students learned what contour drawing is and applied the technique by sketching various objects and figures using continuous, flowing lines. It was a fantastic exercise in observation and hand-eye coordination.
