Y3-4 Art Class Update T2-W10

This week, we explored contour drawing in a fun and creative way.

The students paired up with a partner and carefully observed each other’s faces before drawing.

The challenge was to keep their pencils moving without lifting them from the paper while focusing only on what they saw, not on the paper.

It was a completely new experience for many, and the results were both exciting and amusing.

The art room was filled with laughter as the children discovered the unexpected and unique lines in their drawings. They truly enjoyed the process, embracing the imperfections and creative surprises along the way.

Through this activity, the students learned how to observe closely, trust their eyes, and let go of the pressure to make everything perfect. It was a wonderful exercise in hand-eye coordination, patience, and creative expression.

The joy and enthusiasm continued until the very end of the lesson, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone.
