This week, we had a fun art lesson about printmaking.
The students made fish prints using string, foil, and paint.
First, they drew a fish on a foam board with a marker. Then, they stuck string on the lines and covered it with foil. They painted the foil with a sponge and added another colour on the string. After that, they pressed paper on top to make the print. Everyone was excited to see their fish prints appear on the paper! We learned about texture, colour contrast, and how prints are made.
The classroom got messy with paint, but the kids had a fantastic time!
