Y1-2 Art Class Update T3-W2

This week, we learned about the famous Korean artist Lee Jung-seob.
We talked about his life, his love for his family, and the special way he showed his feelings through art.

We looked at his drawings of children and cows, and learned how he used pictures and letters to express his deep love and longing for his family.

We also learned that during hard times, he didn’t have money to buy paper—so he drew on silver foil from things like cigarette packs or chocolate wrappers!

Inspired by this, we started making our own drawings on tin foil, just like he did.
It was a fun way to try something new and think about how we can express our own feelings through art.

Well done, everyone!

We also finished our Gomusin (Korean traditional shoes) project!

Everyone did a fantastic job decorating with patterns and hanji paper.
