Y7-9 Art Class Update T3-W2

This week, the Year7-9 students continued their exciting 3D Guitar Art project.

After designing and cutting the body shapes last week, they moved on to colouring and decorating their guitars using their own creative ideas.

Each guitar was filled with personality—some featured bold patterns, while others had fun colours and detailed designs.

The students also began building the 3D structure of the guitar body using foam board, carefully layering and shaping the parts to give their artwork dimension. They showed great focus and enthusiasm during the process!

Next week, we will continue by creating the neck and tuners of the guitar to complete the 3D model. The students are doing a fantastic job turning their 2D designs into real, three-dimensional artworks, and I’m excited to see the final results!
