This week, we recreated the artwork of Park Soo-keun by drawing on sandpaper and coloring with crayons. The children’s pieces beautifully captured the rough texture that is characteristic of Park Soo-keun’s unique matière style.
We also began a lotus flower collage project using traditional Korean hanji paper, which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
These artworks will all be displayed at the art show in June.
