In this week’s art class, the Year5 students each posed in their desired positions and took photographs. We created layers of the same pose from our photos on different coloured sheets to convey a sense of movement. We experimented with various background colours and used a variety of colours for the moving layers. This lesson required a lot of cutting with scissors, which was challenging, but it was also a time to improve our fine motor skills. I’m looking forward to the next class when we’ll get to see the finished artworks.
