Last week, we learned about the universe and planets, and this week, we connected that knowledge to
explore astronauts. Through a presentation, we delved into what astronauts do, what they wear in
space, what kind of food they eat, and how they live. Additionally, we gained vivid insights into
astronauts’ daily lives through short videos. For our art activity, we spent time drawing spacesuits worn
by astronauts.
We focused on understanding the roles of spacesuits in protecting astronauts, including
oxygen respirators, cameras attached to helmets for communication with people on Earth, and the
various components of the spacesuit such as modules, gloves, and boots. Everyone did a great job
expressing their unique, personalized astronauts through their drawings. Looking forward to more fun
art activities in the next session!
