This week, we learned how to create beautiful artwork using transparent ink!
Transparent ink looks just like water, so when we drew on Korean rice paper, the patterns were barely visible at first. After drawing the pictures we wanted, we carefully let the ink dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
Once the drawings were dry, we painted on the back of the paper with watercolours, and the patterns appeared clearly and beautifully!
This activity taught us the importance of patience and how to work carefully with new materials.
