The Year 3-4 students successfully completed an outstanding group project. Each group selected a painting by Gustav Klimt, explored it with curiosity, and asked thoughtful questions. They then recreated Klimt’s artwork in their own way, incorporating their unique artistic sensibilities.
To complete the project, each group sketched their chosen painting and divided it into four sections.
Each member coloured one section, and then they reassembled the pieces like a puzzle to form a complete artwork. Through this collaborative art project, the students learned how to interact, communicate, and solve problems together.
Every group produced excellent results, and as a final touch, they decorated their work with sequins to enhance the dazzling effect characteristic of Klimt’s style.
