The Year 3-4 students studied the life and works of Egon Schiele, a protege of Gustav Klimt.
They discussed the similarities and differences between Klimt’s paintings and Schiele’s distinct style. Inspired by Schiele’s unique characteristics, they attempted to create expressive portraits using bold, rough lines and raw, unrefined imagery. Although the technique was challenging, the students enjoyed expressing their own emotions through drawing.
