Y1-2 Art Class Update T2-W10

This week, we had a wonderful and creative art lesson where we mixed drawing, music, and video-making to bring Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to life!

First, the kids designed and decorated their own stars. They had the freedom to make their stars unique and beautiful using different colours, patterns, and decorations. Some stars were big, some were small, and beautiful bright colours.

Next, we got the stars ready for a special music video. The kids learned how their artwork could be used in an animated scene.

After that, we practiced singing the song and acting out fun movements to show how stars shine and sparkle. This helped us see how art, music, and movement can all work together to make something special.

Now, I will put everything together to create our magical music video. The kids are super excited to see how their drawings and performances will come to life on screen!

Through this project, we learned how to be creative in different ways, how teamwork is important, and how art can be used to tell a story. It was a fun and exciting experience, and we can’t wait to watch the finished video soon!

This week, one of the Year 1-2 art classes was missed due to a field trip, and three kids were absent with colds, so it felt like a bit of a short week. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter holiday, and let’s have even more fun in our art lessons when we come back!
