Mr Dunn’s Class Update – First Day Back

Hello everyone,

We had an excellent first day back in class! Today, we focused on getting to know each other and settling into our new routines and expectations. The day was off-curriculum, allowing us to spend time building connections and setting the tone for a fantastic year ahead.

In the morning, we played a fun board game where the children answered questions about themselves, helping us all learn more about one another. The students also created “All About Me” posters, where they shared details about their families, hobbies, and favourite things.

In the afternoon, we engaged in a teamwork activity. The challenge was to create the longest paper chain possible, which required the children to think creatively and collaborate effectively. It was wonderful to see them work together and support each other.

Overall, it was a great start to the year, and I’m excited to see what we’ll achieve together!

Orientation

On Thursday 29th August, at 15:30, I will hold a curriculum orientation meeting. I will discuss the timetable, curriculum, and other important information related to the class for the year. I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Have a great weekend everyone!
