SKAIS Football

Well done to all our students who competed in the SKAIS football tournaments last week. You were all excellent representatives for HFS. Also, thank you to all the parents who came to support us.

HFS Gives

Do you want to help us spread some Christmas cheer to a good cause in the local community?

This Christmas, HFS has partnered with Ulsan Children’s Home (울산양육원) to provide Christmas gifts for their children. Ulsan Children’s Home has been providing a loving home to disadvantaged children in Ulsan since 1947. The children at the home have each chosen a Christmas gift for the community at HFS to buy for them. Closer to Christmas, we will deliver the gift to the centre. Through this initiative, we are hoping our students learn a little about the importance of helping those less fortunate and contributing to the local community.

If you would like to take part and buy a gift:

  • Choose a gift from the list
  • Write your name in Column A to show that the gift has been chosen
  • If you want to remain anonymous, please contact the Admin Office for assistance
  • Buy the gift using the Coupang link provided (The Admin Office can help if necessary)
  • Make sure to check the ‘Notes’ column for any size or colour options
  • Wrap the gift and maybe add a few candys or a nice note
  • Bring the gift to school marked with the Gift ID
  • All gifts should be at school before the end of term

International Children’s Festival

Last week students from HFS performed at the International Children’s Festival at the Ulsan Educational and Cultural Centre for Students. The students did a great job performing on a professional stage in front of a large crowd. We also had the opportunity to experience some traditional Korean dance, an exciting taekwondo performance, and some excellent singing. Also, thank you to all the parents that came to support us. Well done, everyone!

Music Teacher

HFS is currently advertising for a part-time music teacher.

Here is the job posting in English and Korean.

Thrift Market

The thrift market will be held on Friday, 29th November, from 1.30-3.30pm.

Come along and grab some bargins. All proceeds will go to the PTA and charities the school supports.

Mr Green out of School

Mr. Green will be out of school all next week (Week 14). He will be leading a CIS visiting team to Tsukuba International School in Japan. Visiting other schools provides the opportunity to learn more about best practices in international education and bring good ideas back to HFS.

Upcoming Events

  • PTA Thrift Market: Friday, November 29
  • Cultural Exchange | Year-end Talent Show and Party, Saturday 7th December
  • Winter Show: Friday, December 13th
