The Year 1-2 children will be learning all about ‘All About Me’ over the next few weeks. The goal of this lesson is to help the children learn more about themselves and their classmates by exploring what makes each of them unique and special.
This week, we drew our portraits using the pixel art technique. Pixel art is a fun and creative way to make pictures using tiny squares called ‘pixels.’ Imagine a picture made out of little blocks, like building with small colored LEGO bricks. Each block, or pixel, is one colour, and when you put a lot of them together, they create a big picture, like a face. The year1-2 kids created beautiful pixel art portraits.
