We have been learning about travel and transportation in the sky.
The Year 1-2 students folded paper airplanes and decorated them with their own unique designs.
We also watched a video about hot air balloons, discussing how they fly and imagining the shapes and patterns we would use if we could design one. The children also thought about who they would want to take on a hot air balloon ride with them. Afterward, they sketched their ideas.
Next time, we will use dyeing techniques to create patterns on the hot air balloon designs, adding vibrant and creative touches to their artwork.
