For Y5-6 , after completing our lessons on Pop Art, we compared and contrasted the works of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. The students explored the similarities and differences between these two artists, deepening their understanding of Pop Art’s diverse styles and techniques.
Instead of searching for answers online, the students responded to 15 thought-provoking questions using their own words and ideas. This exercise encouraged them to reflect on what they had learned throughout the term and articulate their thoughts independently. Everyone participated enthusiastically, and it was inspiring to see their critical thinking and engagement with art history.
