Dear Parents, We regret to inform you that the planned ski trip has been cancelled due to a lower than expected number of students expressing interest. While we were excited about this opportunity, we are unable to proceed without sufficient participation to make the trip viable. We understand this news may be disappointing, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please rest assured that we are exploring alternative activities and opportunities for students to enjoy in the near future. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
We would like to inform you that there has been a noticeable increase in cases of a stomach bug going around the school this week. Symptoms reported include vomiting, nausea, and fatigue. Symptoms seem to appear quickly, with students reporting a temperature in the morning but experiencing nausea or vomiting later in the day. To help prevent the spread, we kindly ask you to monitor your child for any signs of illness and keep them at home if they are feeling unwell. The school will provide pizza for all students at lunch time on Friday to celebrate the last day of term. Students may not need to bring a large lunch, but they may want to bring some things to go with their pizza. Students who don’t want to eat pizza can bring lunch as normal.
We have only received two confirmed nominations for parent representatives to join the School Consultative Group so therefore there is no need to hold an election. We want your wonderful recipes! As part of our International Day and food sharing event, the PTA is planning to make an international cookbook featuring recipes from the many countries represented in our community. The final cookbook will be sold to raise funds for the PTA and would make a wonderful souvenir of your time at HFS. Please use this form to share a recipe (or two) that is special to your family.
