Dear Year 1/2 Parents, I hope you are all well. It was nice to have a full week with no days off in between. The week has flown by! At the beginning of the week I started the phonics assessments and I am pleased with the progress the students have made since starting in August. It is always lovely to see them improving. Hello and Happy Friyay! I hope you are all well and enjoying the Autumn weather. We have had a very exciting week in Year 1/2! Happy Chuseok to you all! We have had a busy week in Year 1/2 with lots of fun learning happening. We started the week with our new unit “Super Humans” in IPC. It was an exciting first lesson with a surprise guest from our wonderful dentist, Mrs. Nila. Naka’s mum prepared a wonderful lesson for the children. She taught them how to brush their teeth properly and we had the opportunity to practise flossing our teeth together. Dear parents, It was so nice to see you all at the Curriculum Meeting on Monday. Thank you all for coming. I hope you found it informative and enjoyed getting to know everyone. I loved reading your notes about your child and I found them very helpful. The class has done much better this week following routines and getting used to their new class.
