Hello everyone! An extra exciting week with a small Chuseok celebration on Thursday, it was great to see so many children dressed in their hanboks. Hello everyone, We’ve had a super productive week as the Year 3/4 class kicked off new units in each subject, completed mini-assessments, and continued to adapt to their new classroom environment and expectations. I have been impressed with the start each child has made. In English, we began our unit based on Seal Surfer by Michael Foreman. The children were initially assessed on their writing skills, and by the end of the unit, they will produce a recount in the form of a letter. Hello everyone, We had an excellent first day back in class! Today, we focused on getting to know each other and settling into our new routines and expectations. The day was off-curriculum, allowing us to spend time building connections and setting the tone for a fantastic year ahead. In the morning, we played a fun board game where the children answered questions about themselves, helping us all learn more about one another. The students also created “All About Me” posters, where they shared details about their families, hobbies, and favourite things.
