This week, we delved into the backstory behind one of Vincent van Gogh’s most renowned works, “The Starry Night.”
We discussed how he painted it while staying at the Saint-Rémy asylum, a period that followed the incident where he famously cut off his ear after a disagreement with Paul Gauguin.
We took the time to observe the painting, allowing it to evoke our emotions, and then expressed those feelings through our own drawings.
