Y3-4 Art Class Update – T3W3

Vincent Van Gogh’s numerous paintings expressed objects as he felt, revealing his inner self.

Particularly, he enjoyed drawing swirling lines. His famous painting of the cypress tree captures this distinctive characteristic that only Vincent Van Gogh could produce.

The year3-4 students also attempted to draw pictures reminiscent of Vincent Van Gogh, using thick, short lines that swirl. They drew short curves in different colours, adjusting the thickness of the lines and colours according to their feelings at the moment.

Doesn’t our children’s cypress tree reflect their unique sensibilities beautifully?
